With the Xbox Action, you can interact with your Xbox One using just your voice. Turn your console on and off, launch games and apps, play and pause videos, and more, all from any Google Assistant-enabled device or Google Home and Assistant apps on iOS and Android. To get started, sign in to the Xbox One console you want to control, enable the Xbox Action in the Google Home or Assistant mobile. There are a few possible reasons why you will face this issue. When do I sign in?

Your phone will be signed in when it is initially set up for you. It will stay signed in, even if you log out of your computer. There are a few occasions when you will need to sign in again:

• When you change your University Computing Account password (every 180 days)
• If there is a power outage or network maintenance that affects your building

If the screen on your phone looks like the screen pictured below, it means your phone is signed out. You will not be able to make or receive calls. Tap Sign In to begin.

How do I sign in?

There are several methods you can use to sign in to your phone.

Web Sign In

1. Tap Sign In on the bottom-left of you phone's display.
2. Tap Web Sign-in on your phone's display. A code will appear.
3. From a web browser, visit aka.ms/sphone.
4. Enter your primary username@pitt.edu email address and click Verify Email.
5. Log in with Pitt Passport multifactor authentication.
6. Enter the sign-in code from your phone's display into the login screen of your browser; click Continue.
7. Click on your username to complete the sign-in process.

Via PC

If you use Windows and have the Better Together over Ethernet (BToE) software installed on your computer, you can sign in right from your computer.

1. Tap Sign In on the bottom-left of you phone's display.
2. Tap via PC on your phone's display. A pop-up window will display on your computer screen.
3. Enter your email address and University Computing Account password. Click OK.

User ID

1. Tap Sign-in on the lower left-hand side of your phone's display.
2. Tap User ID near the left-hand side of the display.
3. Tap Sign-in Address and then tap on the white keyboard icon in the top right-hand section of the display.
4. Enter your full University email address (including the @pitt.edu), then press the checkmark icon in the top right-hand side of the display.
5. Leave Domain blank and tap User. Then tap the white keyboard icon in the top right-hand side of the display.
6. Enter your full University email address (including the @pitt.edu), then press the checkmark icon in the top right-hand side of the display.
7. Tap Password, and then tap the white keyboard icon in the top right-hand side of the display.
8. Carefully enter each character of your password. Be sure to and check that each character is entered correctly. Then tap the checkmark icon in the top right-hand side of the display.
9. Press Sign-in near the bottom right-hand side of the display. The phone should sign-in after some time. Should the phone not sign you in after six minutes, please go back and confirm that all fields were typed correctly.

How Developer Mode works

This article only applies to Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S consoles acquired through retail channels. Do i have excel. Slotomania status points. For development kit HW acquired via a managed development program, see the note at the end of the article.

Xbox retail consoles can have two modes, Retail Mode (1) and Developer Mode (2). In Retail Mode, the console is in its normal state: you can play games and run apps acquired through the Xbox store. In Developer Mode, you can develop and test software for the console, but you cannot play retail games or run retail apps.

Developer Mode can be enabled on any retail Xbox console, via the 'Retail to Dev Kit conversion' app found in the Xbox store. After Developer Mode is enabled on your retail console, you can switch back and forth between Retail (2a) and Developer Modes (2b).

Note

Do not run this conversion app on any Xbox development hardware acquired through an Xbox managed program (for example, ID@Xbox) or you may introduce errors and delays while developing your game. Activate Developer Mode on your retail Xbox console

1. Start your Xbox console.

2. Search for and install the Dev Mode Activation app from the Xbox One store.

3. Launch the app from the Store page.

4. Note the code displayed in the Dev Mode Activation app.

5. Register an app developer account in Partner Center. This is also the first step towards publishing your game.

6. Sign in to Partner Center with your valid, current Partner Center app developer account. If you don't see multiple options in the left hand navigation pane, or don't see the Create a new app option in the Overview section, the following steps and activation links will not work; make sure you fully registered your app developer account from the previous step.

7. Go to partner.microsoft.com/xboxconfig/devices.

8. Enter the activation code displayed in the Dev Mode Activation app. You have a limited number of activations associated with your account. After Developer Mode has been activated, Partner Center will indicate you have used one of the activations associated with your account.

9. Click Agree and activate. This will cause the page to reload, and you will see your device populate in the table. Terms for the Xbox One Developer Mode Activation Program agreement can be found at Xbox One Developer Mode Activation Program.

10. After you've entered your activation code, your console will display a progress screen for the activation process.

11. After activation has completed, open the Dev Mode Activation app and click Switch and restart to go to Developer Mode. Note that this will take longer than usual.

Switch between Retail and Developer Mode

After Developer Mode has been enabled on your console, use Dev Home to switch between Retail Mode and Developer Mode. To learn more about starting and using Dev Home, see Introduction to Xbox One tools.

Aka Ms Setup

• To switch to Retail Mode, open Dev Home. Under Quick Actions, select Leave Dev Mode. This will restart your console in Retail Mode.

• Gold diggers slot game. To switch to Developer Mode, use the Dev Mode Activation app. Open the app and select Switch and restart. This will restart your console in Developer Mode.
